Greg Gagliardi – BA

Certified rtms technician

Greg Gagliardi is the rTMS technician and clinic assistant at Reconnect. He earned his degree in 2018 for psychology and philosophy, and has worked in cognitive neuroscience research for over seven years, specializing in electroencephalographic (EEG) neuro-imagery for learning, memory, problem solving and decision-making. His interest in the philosophy of mind, ethics, and interpersonal connection has led him to apply his practical experience of brain biology in a clinical setting, and to help others navigate the complexities of balancing ones inner life with the demands of our modern world.

Most importantly, he truly believes in the power of holistic health-care, which places equal importance on a healthy mind as well as body. He has been practicing mindfulness for the majority of his life, being influenced early on by the growing science of consciousness; where it
goes awry and how it can be healed. Greg is particularly drawn to rTMS technology, as it harnesses physiological mechanisms as a means to help ease mental distress in a controlled and empirical way.

Greg has received his certification as an rTMS technician through the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health program in Toronto.
